Outdoor weatherproof unit used reduce interference from signals outside the specified group of the filter.Has through line power facility to enable powering of mast head amplifiers (in this case install filter BEFORE amplifier i.e. between aerial and amplifier).Also mount filter at least 30cm (12ins) away from amplifier.
